Krka and Skradin by yacht · ≈ 34 NM from Biograd

From Biograd to Šibenik it is ≈ 26 NM; you enter Šibenik harbour through St Anthony’s Channel, where the speed limit is 8 knots and sailing is prohibited. From the Martinska harbour light to Skradin the rules for the Krka estuary apply: 8 knots at most, on the right-hand side of the fairway, overtaking only on the other vessel’s port side and without making a wake.

The river is marked with red and green lights; in places the channel narrows to 100 and 80 m, and the left bank is shallower. In the Prokljan lake the route passes Cape Oštrica (green light), and the lights on Cape Lukovo and Cape Dut mark the entrance to Skradin harbour. From Šibenik to Skradin it is ≈ 8 NM, about an hour and a half for a yacht.

• Anchoring is prohibited in St Joseph’s Channel and in the Skradin channel from Cape Oštrica to Skradin.
• Upstream of Skradin bridge navigation in the park is not allowed without the park’s approval; the yacht stays in Skradin.
• Swimming is prohibited in the park, Skradinski buk included; it is allowed only at the marked spots at Stinice, Remetić and below Roški slap.
• There is no fuel station for boats in Skradin; the nearest is ≈ 8 NM downriver, so fill up in Šibenik.

ACI marina Skradin has 180 berths and is open all year; you lie on the quay right by the village, and a grocery shop is about 300 m from the marina. You buy the ticket at the park office in Skradin or in advance online; with it you board the park boat to Skradinski buk and back. A 3.4 km walking and cycling trail also leads from Skradin bridge to the falls.
