Difficulty and wind
from official sources and the base’s experience, checked 4 Nov 2026
Difficulty: moderate
The days are moderate, but St Anthony’s Channel is narrow: under engine only, 8 knots at most, sailing is prohibited. With a category B licence and basic experience, or with a skipper.
Wind
The maestral (NW) blows in the afternoon, so sail in the morning. Šibenik and Zlarin give good shelter from the bora (NE); in a jugo (SE), Kaprije and Prvić have calmer bays on their north side.
