Telašćica is a deep bay in the south-east of Dugi otok, with 25 small beaches and six islets inside. You spend the night on a buoy, swim in the saltwater Lake Mir and walk up to the Grpašćak cliffs, 161 m above the open sea; Sali, with shops and water, is half an hour away by boat.

Telašćica from the yacht

From Biograd you sail round the southern tip of Pašman and along the north side of Žut towards Dugi otok. You enter the bay from the sea in the south-east, by the Vela Sestrica lighthouse, or through the Vela and Mala Proversa passages between Dugi otok and the Kornati. Mala Proversa is narrow; take it only with the official HHI chart.

The ticket is paid per vessel. It is cheapest bought online at least one day ahead (the Parkovi Hrvatske web shop or mySea); in the park the rangers sell it, and authorised agencies in Sali and Sukošan. A one-day ticket is valid until 12:00 the next day. Tickets cannot be cancelled; you can change the date of your visit once per season by e-mail to ulaznice@telascica.hr by 12:00 the day before arrival.

  • From the line Cape Pod Poljica – Cape Gubac towards the head of the bay, max. 10 kn; in the Mir, Tripuljak, Kruševica, Kučimul, Magrovica, Pod Dugo polje, Pasjak and Jaz bays, max. 5 kn.
  • Fires, spearfishing, collecting shellfish and climbing the cliffs are forbidden; dogs stay on a lead.
  • Scuba diving only with a park permit, at Garmenjak Veliki and Mali, Korotan and Podusobine.
  • Get water and groceries in Sali; Mir bay has restaurants but no shop.

In March 2026 the park secured funding for eco moorings: the old concrete blocks will be replaced by geotechnical anchors at 10 locations. Until then, use the existing buoys and do not anchor on the posidonia meadows.

Tip from the base. Buy the ticket online the evening before you leave Biograd. Reach Mir bay by early afternoon, and visit the lake and the Grpašćak viewpoint in the morning, before the day-trip boats.
Can I combine Telašćica and the Kornati?

Yes: the combined 3-day ticket costs €300 per vessel in the season. More about the park on the Kornati page.

How much is a three-day ticket?

For a yacht of 11–18 m in the season, €180 in advance; it is valid until 12:00 on the third day after purchase.

Where are fuel and water?

Water and power are on the berths in Sali, fuel in neighbouring Zaglav. More on the Dugi otok page.
